What is Flicker and Fated?

Flicker and Fated is a queer, women-owned business creating book-inspired candles, curated boxes, and merch that celebrate romance, representation, and community.

Who do you feature in your boxes?

We spotlight diverse authors, especially those that write BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ romance, whose stories deserve the love and visibility they bring to readers.

Are your candles hand-poured?

Yes! Every candle is hand-poured in small batches with care. We use quality ingredients to ensure a clean burn and long-lasting scent.

Shipping Times & Preorders

All of our products are created and packaged with care, and shipping times vary depending on the item:


- Stickers and Prints: Please allow 7–10 business days for processing before your order ships UNLESS shipped with FULL BOX or WAX PACK. If you want stickers and prints to be shipped sooner, please make a separate order with those items.

- Clothing Items: All apparel is printed and shipped directly from Printify. These items have a 5–8 business day shipping window. Flicker and Fated does not ship clothing items from our home store unless otherwise specified.

-U.S. orders: 3–7 business days in transit once shipped.

-International orders (if available): 2–4 weeks depending on location and customs.

For our Spotlight Boxes, preorders open one month before the designated spotlight month. Orders are expected to begin shipping 3-4 weeks following the preorder period.

You’ll receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order is on its way. Please keep in mind that shipping times may be longer during holidays, launches, or unexpected carrier delays.

How many full boxes can customers purchase?

Full boxes are limited to one per customer as these are limited editions.

Returns, Replacements & Cancellations

At Flicker and Fated, every item is made with care, and we want you to love what you receive.


- Refunds: We do not issue refunds.

- Replacements: If your item arrives damaged or faulty, we’re happy to send a replacement. To request one:


1. Take a clear photo of the damaged/faulty item.


2. Email the photo and your order number to help.flickerandfated@gmail.com.


3. Once documented, we’ll send a replacement as quickly as possible.


- Cancellations: Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. Because many of our products are made-to-order or preorder exclusives, we cannot accept cancellations after this window.

Please note: We do not accept general returns or exchanges.

How often do new boxes come out?

We release special edition boxes and spotlight author features throughout the year.

We take off January, May, and September, unless stated otherwise.

Each one is crafted with a unique theme and vibe, so there’s always something new to discover.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship within the U.S and Canada (international shipping options may be added in the future).

Can I cancel or return my order?

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. Because our products are made to order, returns are not accepted—but if something arrives damaged, reach out to us and we’ll make it right.
